Paramount did not receive a single Oscar nomination this year. Last year they had many but is now red faced after no nominations this year. Problem seems to be most of their movies did not do well critically or at the Box Office. George Clooney directed Suburbicon with Matt Damon which bombed badly with the critics and at the Box Office.
