No real George Clooney news around George is still laying low. Amal Clooney has a sort of win with her client the ex President of the Maldives getting political asylum in England. This isn't the same as him being found not guilty in fact he is supposed to be serving his 13 year sentence but Amal claimed he needed back surgery only done in London. Which has to most peoples knowledge not been done. I see a lot of Amals clients suddenly coming down with medical problems. Officially Mr Nashed is still a criminal with a lawyer who clearly has no issues saying whatever she needs to too trick a court into releasing him for a surgery it looks like he probably never needed. I wonder if Amal can try this with some of her other clients. Like the Gadaffis and other clients she has who are guilty of major Human Rights violations but hey Amal doesn't care as long as she get's publicity can where expensive designer clothes and ham it up for the camera. I'm sure her reputation will preceed her and she may find it a little more difficult to make people believe what she says. Mind you she has already been called out by a judge for misleading statements etc. Most people think lawyers are pretty shonky and Amal could be their poster girl. This is why Amal doesn't work for actual victims on crime it just doesn't pay as well and she would have to do some real work. When was the last time Amal was even in a courtroom?
