Amal Clooney, a barrister at Doughty Street Chambers specialising in international law and human rights law, has joined Nani Jansen, Legal Director at the Media Legal Defence Initiative, as co-counsel representing Khadija Ismayilova before the European Court of Human Rights. The appointment of Mrs Clooney as co-counsel was confirmed in a signed power of attorney delivered last month.

US Senate asks Maldives to rectify ‘injustice’ to Nasheed. Clearly the US senate doesn't know both sides of the story like he was guilty and he chose not to appeal. The Maldives government has denied his request for more time for this spinal issues. May have something to do with the fact he spent a couple of weeks running around trying to promote himself. Mr Nasheed is still in UK will he return to the Maldives? Probably not.

George Clooney is no longer homeless in the UK his Sonning mansion is now finished. He and Amal who already have 4 homes to choose from have a new pool and tennis court at their new pile of rocks. So will it still be summers in Lake Como or will the spend most of there time in the UK which isn't known for it's hot Summers?
