Amal Clooneys client the ex President of the Maldives Mr Nasheed has got some bad news the Medical authorities at the Prison have denied him anymore medical leave as they question the validity of the documents he put in. No letterhead, dodgy email and not putting in 2 important documents. Mr Nasheed got a 30 day leave from prison to have this important surgery as his lawyer Amal Clooney demanded. But it seems it wasn't that urgent as Mr Nasheed spent most of the time running around meeting people. No word on if he has even had it yet. The surgery usually is a day surgery and most people with real jobs can be back at work withing a couple of weeks. No idea where Amal Clooney got the he would need 6 months from. It is in the end the Governments decision whether to grant the extra 8 weeks he wants he has already missed his deadling for returning but he does have time to appeal. Anyone else feeling taken for a ride?
