South Sudan: Rebels Recruiting Youth in Jonglei

JUBA — South Sudan's military says rebel leader and former army general David Yau Yau, whose forces killed 24 soldiers last week, is recruiting disgruntled ethnic Murle youth who are resisting army-led disarmament.


Villages destroyed by rains in S Darfur
BILEL (28 Aug .) -
Jacob Mursal, the Commissioner of Bilel locality, South Darfur, told Radio Dabanga that heavy rains and floods swept several villages in the locality on Tuesday, August 28. He added that more than 20 families are now living in open areas.
