No sign of Amal Clooney in Egypt. Husband George claimed she was there a couple of days ago. Amal has been refused a meeting by the Canadian Minister. It's the second refusal for Amal. Guess the last name Clooney doesn't open all doors for you. After her recent gaffe with the Egypt officials threatened me with arrest they may not have a good deal of faith in Amal Clooney. The three Al Jeezera reporters have been granted a retrial this was on the cards well before Amal and her boss joined the case. It is possible that at least two of them could be deported as the Egyptian President didn't think it should go to trial in the first place.
