Justice Minister suggests Amal Clooney is given high profile cases ‘because of marriage to George Clooney’

Edward Faulks QC reportedly suggested she is chosen because of the publicity her marriage will bring to cases.

It's not just us who are calling Amal Clooney out only an idiot would believe she hasn't gained a high profile and gotten work using the Clooney name. Doughty Street dispute this but she seems to be more the face off then an actual barrister these days. And after 15 years she is just a junior and from all our searching hasn't done much if any pro bono work. Her boss Geoffrey Robertson says she is brilliant and isn't getting the attention because who she married. Seriously? The man has been parading a barrister who has never won or lead a case in her designer clothes to cases that need good PR and publicity. No one would be talking about these cases if Amal wasn't involved something her law firm must be aware off. If it wasn't for George Clooney the press couldn't care less about Amal.

Brilliant barrister Amal Clooneys bad track record continues with her client ex President of the Maldives, Mohamed Nasheed has been refused his appeal. It seems there were arguments in the court room but this doesn't help Mr Nasheed as he is facing 13 years in jail. And now because of the defence claims who were advised by Amal Clooney they are now going to take an even closer look at Mr Nasheed and his actions. Bottom line is the Government has said they can't step in like America they can't interfere with a court of law they were asked it seems by the defence to help get an appeal but then they argued about how the government can't ask for one. It sounds very complicated but in the end Mr Nasheed is still in prison facing 13 years and Amal Clooney is off somewhere probably in one of her four mansions or shopping for that designer wardrobe she wears everywhere.
