Amal Clooney is reportedly going to the Maldives later this week. She is a member of ex-President Nasheed's defence team. But going by her track record, he might want to re-think that decision. Yes, she gets the publicity. But SHE gets it. She gets the publicity more for herself than her clients. She was brought on board the Mohamed Fahmy defence team but it did him no good at all. And yet the mainstream press still seem to be under the illusion that she is a hot-shot lawyer. Amal's PR team just might be better at their jobs than all of the Hollywood PR gurus put together.
